HBO Max has officially announced that House of the Dragon Season 2 will premiere on Sunday, June 16, 2024, at 9:00 PM CT.

Season 2 will consist of eight episodes, airing weekly on HBO and HBO Max.

Plot

The upcoming season is expected to continue the story of the Targaryen civil war known as the "Dance of the Dragons." The conflict will pit House Targaryen against itself, as different factions vie for control of the Iron Throne.
